It is essential to keep track of your DeFi investments. An easy way to keep track is by using tools such as DeBank, Zapper or DeFi Saver which monitor the value and performance of your assets in real time.
These tools will provide you with information on key aspects to consider such as yields, commissions and much more.
Follow-up with DeBank
Here's how to use DeBank to keep track of your investments:
- On the DeBank home page, you will see an option to connect your wallet. Click on "Log In"and you will be able to select Metamask or another compatible wallet, in our case, we will select Metamask. Follow the steps to authorize the connection.
- Once you have connected your wallet, you will be presented with a dashboard with information about your DeFi investments. in DeFi. This includes the total value of your assets, the performance of your investments, open positions, income generated, among other data.
- DeBank offers different sections to explore and analyze your DeFi investments. You can navigate through the different tabs, such as "Portfolio"to view your token balances and get an overview of your portfolio, "NFTs"to view information about your non-fungible tokens, if you own any, or the "Transactions" to see a record of all transactions made on almost any blockchain.
- Within DeBank, you can also search for specific DeFi projects for more in-depth details by clicking on the "DeFi Projects" section.More"section on the left side of the interface, and clicking again on "Protocols". By typing in its name or ticker you will access relevant information such as its total locked value (TVL), historical returns, liquidity pools and more.
- DeBank offers interactive tools and charts for customized analysis of your investments. You can filter by dates, specific assets or key metrics to get a more detailed view of your DeFi performance.
Finally, it should be noted that not all protocols can be tracked with this type of tool, and in many cases you will have no choice but to use an excel file to keep track of your investment, with all the movements you make and the expenses you have.
